I am sure you won’t be surprised to learn that exercise is one of the best natural beauty secrets a woman could have, but we recently discovered that a lot of women are missing out on the scoop.

When researching how much women spent on cosmetics we found the following; Harpers Bazaar stated that “The average individual in the UK is spending almost £4,500 on their looks throughout the year, new research by TotallyMoney.com has revealed.” A Groupon study also unveiled that on average British women spend £70,294 on their appearance in a lifetime. 

Now, there is nothing wrong with learning how to ‘bake’ your face, but enhancing your natural beauty is king. 

Below are 3 reasons as to why exercise should be a part of your beauty regime.

  1. The glow: Exercise increases blood flow around the body and blood carries nutrients, so whilst your busy sculpting, blood is pushing nutrients around to make your skin glow and help your hair to grow.
  2. The 'inside out' facial: Audrey Kunin, MD, a dermatologist says “ When the pores dilate, sweat expels trapped dirt and oil. Just be sure to wash your face afterward so the gunk doesn’t get sucked back into the pores”. So effectively your skin is getting a mini facial and expelling toxins as you work up a sweat. Read more
